Ecuador's marquee diving is the Galápagos, a volcanic archipelago roughly 1,000km off the mainland in the Pacific, where cold and warm currents collide to concentrate sharks, rays and large pelagics. Mainland and coastal Ecuadorian diving exists but is minor by comparison. We're populating the Galápagos first.
