wherewhendive is deliberately light on data collection. Privacy-friendly Vercel Web Analytics records page visits and aggregate actions such as filter use, sharing, saved destinations and outbound partner clicks. It does not create a profile for you on this site.

If you ask us to find a dive centre, we collect the destinations and timing you provide, each diver’s experience, trip notes, your name and at least one contact method. We use this information to assess the request and may share it with no more than three matched dive operators, as stated beside the form. Those operators may use it only to respond about that trip. Submitting the form is not a booking.

Enquiry and confirmation emails are processed by our email delivery provider. We keep enquiry records only as long as needed to handle the request, measure whether the service works, resolve disputes and meet legal obligations. You can ask us to provide or delete your enquiry information by quoting its reference number.

Newsletter signup is separate and optional. Joining the newsletter does not affect an operator request, and an operator request does not add you to a marketing list. Every newsletter will include a way to unsubscribe.

Filters are stored in the page URL so you can share and bookmark searches. My trip is stored in your browser. Shared trip links include the trip name, destinations and months; notes are kept on your device and are not added to shared links.

Outbound links to booking, flight and insurance partners may set their own cookies once you follow them and complete an action there — that’s governed by those partners’ own privacy policies, not this one.
