Eight, eleven or fourteen days
Dive the Racha Islands from Phuket, then take the seasonal ferry to Koh Lanta for Phi Phi, Koh Haa and an advanced Hin Daeng and Hin Muang day. Fly into Phuket and home from Krabi. The route only works cleanly in the dry season.

Seven, ten or thirteen days
Start with Cozumel’s reef drifts, then take the ferry to Playa del Carmen for guided cenote diving. Fly into Cozumel and home from Cancún. The second base suits divers who are comfortable being under a rock ceiling.

Fly into Bali, dive Amed or Tulamben, cross to Nusa Penida and finish in the Gilis. Fly home from Lombok instead of retracing the route.

Start with Bunaken’s walls, cross to Bangka’s reefs and finish with black-sand macro diving in Lembeh. Fly in and out of Manado.
