Best overall months to dive: Apr–Oct

Fiji's five core dive regions cover very different trips. Pacific Harbour pairs Beqa Lagoon reefs with a provisioned bull-shark dive. Taveuni and the Bligh Water focus on current-fed soft coral; Kadavu adds the Great Astrolabe Reef and manta areas; Savusavu combines local reefs with weather-dependent access to Namena. Domestic flights, open-water boat transfers and community access fees matter outside Viti Levu. Current and tide often shape a dive more than the month alone.
