Malaysia's headline diving is Sipadan, an oceanic island off Sabah in Borneo known for turtles, resident barracuda and jack schools, reef sharks and a wall dropping into the deep. The Peninsular side adds macro and reef around the Perhentians, Redang and Tioman. We are populating Sipadan — reached via Semporna and the neighbouring islands of Mabul and Kapalai — first.
