Carwash (Aktun Ha)

About 8km up the Coba road from Tulum, roughly 10 minutes out. Named because taxi drivers used to wash cars in it. Shallow and forgiving; the surface can go green with algae or tea-coloured with tannins in late summer, but that layer is thin and clears within a metre of descent.
